Overview

A self-initiated motion graphics reel — a place to test timing, type treatment and transitions outside of client constraints.

Challenge

Reels usually become a highlight dump. This one needed to hold together as a single piece with its own rhythm.

Creative concept

Treat it as one sequence: an opening that sets the tempo, a hero section that peaks, and a closing that resolves it.

Approach

• 01Storyboard the reel as one continuous edit rather than separate clips.
• 02Lock a consistent type system across every sequence.
• 03Cut transitions on beat so the piece reads as intentional.
